- The Bush administration instituted programs on intelligence and interrogations that were a "great success story. It was done legally . in accordance with our constitutional practices and principles," Cheney said. "President Obama campaigned against it all across the country. Now he is making some choices in my mind that will in fact raise the risk to the American people of an attack."
